The Daggers of Westernesse are weapons that Tom Bombadil recovered from the Barrow-downs after rescuing the four Hobbits of the Fellowship from the Barrow-wight. Bombadil gave the Barrow Blades to each of the Hobbits, which were large enough to be used as swords for the Hobbits.

This design incorporates all four of the Barrow-blades and includes the first initial of each Hobbit's name who received a dagger. The following design shows the fate of the four blades at the end of the Lord of the Rings, with two of the daggers being destroyed: Frodo's was broken by the Witch-king of Angmar at the Ford of Bruinen and Merry's turned to dust after stabbing the Witch-king in the back of his knee at the Battle of Pelennor Fields.
"So passed the sword of the Barrow-downs, work of Westernesse. But glad would he have been to know its fate who wrought it slowly long ago in the North-kingdom when the Dúnedain were young, and chief among their foes was the dread realm of Angmar and its sorcerer king. No other blade, not though mightier hands had wielded it, would have dealt that foe a wound so bitter, cleaving the undead flesh, breaking the spell that knit his unseen sinews to his will."
