Eärendil is a character from J. R. R. Tolkien's The Silmarillion and he also is referenced in The Lord of the Rings. This graphic was inspired by two Tolkien-related podcasts: The Prancing Pony Podcast and The Tolkien Professor. Both of these podcasts had a section in an episode where they focused on Eärendil's lineage of being half man and half elf.
